rag & bone fall 11

Borders and lines are all the rage at rag and bone. The collection reminds me of a mix of a velcro outfit/Scottish farmer turned fashion icon. It’s crazy cool, you cannot deny it.

The brands designers, Marcus Wainwright and David Neville, manage to keep the shearling jacket alive without letting it look ‘past season’, which isn’t easy considering the gazillion shearlings, luxury or highstreet, that are roaming around streets across the globe. The padded leg pieces, if you can call them that, are also pretty neat..they remind me of Nicola Formichetti’s trousers for Mugler. (although eventually aren’t all ribbed padded pieces inspired by Phoebe Philo’s bicker jacket for Celine??)

Don’t get me started on the boots..
